Please download the document above 'ReportingBridlewayIssues.pdf', which provides details of accepted standards re bridleway widths, gate widths, type of problems commonly encountered, roles and responsibilities with regards to bridleways in relation to Highways, landowners and general public. It is important to note the width of a Highway is from hedge to hedge (or between boundaries) along a road not just the stony track/metalled surface along the middle.
